I'm so exhausted by supposedly progressive orgs using genAI (built on stolen creative works) to make illustrations for their social media, stickers, blogs, etc.

EXAMINE why you think it's fine for artists to get ripped off. EXAMINE why you think you should pay your printer, your plumber, etc but you don't think illustrators are worth paying. (But you're also not willing to go without illustrations and rely purely on your scintillating prose...)

@meganL I have been known to leave some very blunt comments on adverts made with AI, especially from so called "creative" companies.
You want to sell me yarn, paints, threads, fabrics, inks but you don't want to do anything creative for your own bloody adverts? I'll keep my money.

@meganL It's the same for musicians. i have heard many using ai to craft music, but it's not using their creative process.

@HarmonthSeeker Yes. I've seen two YouTube vloggers use it for their videos so far. People talk so casually about using something built on theft.
