I’ve been enjoying a lot of sci-fi audiobooks lately, but I keep running into the perennial issue- a lot of the better narrated audiobooks are only about white cishet dude power fantasies (coughcoughlevianthanwakesnbobiversecough) that, while sometimes entertaining, never fail to piss me the hell off with the casual misogyny, transphobia and white savior complexes baked in. I have a small handful of sci-fi audiobooks that challenge that kind of narrative, but damn I need more………
