Change Cancel Button Text

Hi, In our Jira instance, when we press the main "cancel" button under a sub-task we have a popup window to explain the reason of cancellation. @marcoarment it seems to be for a lot of people on the Epstein list 🥁
@marcoarment Aaah, I think I get it now. Cancel is for "run", and the dialog is for "processing stuff before run". There is a similar one, about "unblocking your phone". What a mess.

@marcoarment Not entirely convinced this is true. Last time I saw this, I hit cancel at around 30% (slow because WiFi and not through cable) and after a while, I hit run and it started at 0% again.

Course, that just might be fetching progress, playing catch-up or maybe the previous transfer failed.

Or maybe it actually canceled, who knows!

@marcoarment I can’t believe you wasted valuable time on ATP complaining about workouts on Apple Watch when this existed.
@marcoarment Not at all to excuse this, because it’s confusing and the UI doesn’t explain it at all, but it does make sense. Copying symbols is happening in the background already. Building and running is blocked on that. You’re cancelling the build and run, not the copying of symbols.
@marcoarment I always took this to mean cancelling the install that this cache or symbol copying is blocking.

@marcoarment This is like day one of any undergraduate HCI course.

You go up to the whiteboard and write “NEVER PUT A TRANSITIVE VERB ON A BUTTON WITHOUT ALSO SAYING WHAT NOUN IT REFERS TO”.

Then you introduce yourself, point out the fire exits, and tell people how to find the computer lab.
