Apps On The MoveA bug fix for yesterday’s beorg release is out today. This resolves an issue helpfully identified by a user with changes to dates not saving, if the date change was the only modification.
Jack Rusher@appsonthemove 👋🏻 long time paying BeOrg user here! Any chance we will see an overhaul of the UI around files? I would like to use BeOrg more for notetaking than as an agenda, and it’s currently pretty rough in that capacity. In any case, thanks for making this software 😊
@jack I agree beorg can be a little clunky when it comes to note taking, the focus is definitely on the agenda and managing your tasks when away from Emacs. What changes would make beorg better for you in this respect?
@appsonthemove One big thing is that after I navigate down the levels in a file to the textual content, it gets put into a tiny editing widget that only lets me see ~40 characters at a time. My dream would be an interface something like Apple Notes over my org files (but I understand that would be a lot of work!)
