Have just been squashing bugs with chronicle my new AI driven document scanner.

This is the latest:

Feature: Added Menu 10 for True Seamless Document Merging (v1.3.0)

- Introduced Menu 10 (Technical Appendix), allowing users to completely disable all metadata, confidence scores, and dates.
- Enhanced "Merge Mode" so that when the appendix is excluded, multi-page documents (like handwritten letters) are stitched together with zero page-boundary interruptions, creating a 100% continuous reading flow.
- Updated README and CHANGELOG to reflect the new 10-menu architecture.

@TheVoiceGuy I could be wrong but despite mentioning TIF files, I don't think this project currently supports them. even when a tif file is present we get No valid files found in C:\temp\chronicle\input_files. Supported formats: .pdf, .docx, .txt, .md, .rtf, .csv, .js, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .tiff, .webp. I"m running the latest build. I have written a program that scans a page of text and feeds it into chronicle. regrettably it only works on windows.

@TheVoiceGuy That's awesome! I printed a test document. Using python, my flat-bed was identified, scanned to PNG, parsed to Chronicle and ended up with a perfect OCR of what I printed!

I will work on .tiff format.
I'm always trying to think of other formats.

@TheVoiceGuy Yeah I think it's a brilliant concept. It tackled handwriting with no difficulty and does a really neice job in general.

@sjtaylor I think if you have a shot with that fire format now, it should hopefully work.
I’m jumping into bed soon but if you find anything else, just chuck it up here and I will look tomorrow.

@sjtaylor I have incorporated this file format into the script and made sure it’s completely supported.
I don’t have any to test but I’m about to push out this update in the next five minutes or so.

I know it’s probably not for everyone but the results are quite impressive if I say so myself.
