Nice idea, I tested with a few playlists and got error 404 at 5% then I went to pick up playlists that are definitely public, such as https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DXcBWIGoYBM5M but also got 404

@rick thanks for that. Think I worked it out (after going down a few "it's me" rabbit holes). I think it's a public Spotify list, not your personal one... ? Can you try a personal playlist?

@rick yup - their auto playlists are not available via their API
