As the discourse invariably turns more towards "to what degree should we consider AI's to be people" i'm just gonna say that the more we allow our pareidolic tendencies to project personhood, the more we enable the concept of corporate personhood to be even further extended until we get the digital equivalent of the episode of Community with Subway the person.
