Glyphone of my favorite things on fedi is seeing an enormous infodump that is almost totally incomprehensible to me, where someone is just pouring out their heart about a topic that they love, in some gigantic thread of intense nerdery. sometimes I see people post self-consciously as if they feel like they shouldn't be filling up people's timelines with their special interest but I just want to say as a blanket statement, go for it. even if I can't quite understand the facts, the energy is sublime

I had a dream in which there was something like a cross between the fediverse and a wiki specifically for this that allowed for long and article form posts and one of the main instances on it was at braindump.nya
It was catgirl themed of course and also hosted the Cat and Mouse Game which was basically a functional ARG campaign to protect this from being abused by clankers trying to connect it to AI garbage
