Finally got a proper travel kit for my Ricoh GRIIIx (fixed 40mm/2.8 equivalent lens and a pretty good if slightly old APS-C sensor.)

The camera itself has a K&F concept UV filter to protect the lens from dust (which killed my GR-D) and to provide a screw fitting for a K&F 52mm filter ring. Also a friction fit lens cap to try to keep dust out of the extending lens assembly when it’s in a pocket. There’s a screen protector on the back to stop scratches and maybe control impacts. One has already died protecting the camera.

Spare battery. Three filters: a circular polariser for controlling reflections and some atmospheric effects, a 1/4 black diffusion filter because I like the effect and an infrared cut filter. The sensors on the GR line don’t block infrared so you can do IR photography without modifying.

A tiny Godox flash with manual controls in 1/5 power steps. Mostly for a bit of fill. There are a few magnetic filters with it: colour correction, a diffuser and a grid about whose efficacy I have doubts.

A 40mm Voightlander viewfinder which makes the camera much more usable when you get old enough to need glasses to focus on the screen properly. #photography #grd #griiix

Everything except the viewfinder fits in the pouch and the viewfinder goes in the tiny pouch that came with it.
