@JosephMenn @jmaris Best wishes for a soft landing from a fellow victim of newsroom layoffs, Joseph! I'm a software developer formerly employed with a major NPR affiliate.

I've always held WaPo in incredibly high regard, but - in the end - it's journalists who make a newsroom what it is. Their loss is somebody's gain, truly.
