@oatmeal If we can have ant-farms in our houses, why can we have naked mole rat farms? I'd love to have one wall that is glass and filled with dirt, tubers, and these lovelies.

@michaelgemar @oatmeal good question. Would they do well? How much space do they need? Ants are pretty small, maybe you'd need a molerat room?

@lizzard @oatmeal To be serious, I’ve seen zoos put them in interconnected containers, a bit like fancy Habitrails. I was more fantasizing about one entire room wall with a big sheet of glass and dirt behind, where the delightful little critters could dig to their wrinkled hearts’ content. (Admittedly in this fantasy my pet capybaras often watch them dig.)
