#Isaiah presented a series of "#servant songs" in Isaiah 42:1-53:12.
They spoke of YHWH's servant and the kinds of things he would do and represent.
Many of the "servant songs" seem to suggest Israel is the servant God has in mind. Yet other "servant songs" present the servant as somehow representing his people.
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 went so far as to suggest the Servant would #suffer in order for His people to find #deliverance.
