9 mainline: y1, y2, y3, y4, y5, y0, y6, y7, y8
3 half-remake half-remasters: yk1, yk2, yk3
4 spinoffs: ds, kenzan, ishin, that hokuto no ken game
2 good spinoffs: judgement, lost judgement
2 meh spinoffs: gaiden, pirate majima

that's 20 games in total

I only skipped kenzan because no translation and lost paradise because no ps4

(in all seriousness though, even putting aside this controversy, K3 is just a really mid and a bad remake of Y3 overall, eh...)

the only thing I waited from k3 was that hamazaki eating duck scene

and it's even worse now, I like it

anything else is uhhh
probably could've enjoyed gay mine side story, but it also brings unnecessary retcons...

I've seen there is some good progress on ps4 emulator. Maybe soon it will be playable outside of ps4

@a1ba man, I still remember that we were talking about the plans of me borrowing you PS4 to play Lost Paradise, but we never did that after that conversation for some reason :D

But hold on, I remembered that I've recently watched a video about the current state of the PS4 emulation, and I clearly remember that they were talking about Lost Paradise emulation as well. I checked it one more time right now, and... Lost Paradise is fully playable on the emulator???

@a1ba btw, if you're curious, there's Kenzan English translation patch currently in development, and it seems to be almost done. It is being worked on by the same guy who backported Ishin Kiwami English translation to the PS3 version of the OG Ishin

So excited for this, the only Yakuza game with no English translation. And I really like samurai setting, so...
