We're moving house shortly and I'll be rebuilding my office. I have a terrible mix of computery things (NAS, switches, cables, etc.), books, electronics bits, and guitar building bits that don't live in a workshop. And then just projects in progress that dont' fit anywhere.

What sort of shelving/drawers/storage do people have that they're pleased with as a way of containing the mess?

@michael for small things, lots of these, in various sizes. And a labeling machine... https://displaypro.co.uk/collections/business-supplies/products/a4-storage-box?variant=40309094449221

@michael I have pretty severe space constraints but have found success using this model for massively expanding storage of my desk area:

@michael
I'm a big fan of cube shelving right now

Boosting as I'm interested in replies 😁
@michael I’m just going to be a terrible 3d printing weirdo here, but I have had some success with gridfinity. Especially for tools. I had a shelf for it, and then books on another shelf, just open and uncomplicated, but I just bought an IKEA Alex with the intent of making it a full gridfinity chest, so I’ll report back (though lots of gridfinity projects are already on YouTube of course)
