What I always had in mind for SOTA's stage show was each member had some kind of getup for their band persona. But unlike bands like Slipknot or Marilyn Manson or Deathstars or The Residents (all variations on a similar character) or bands like GWAR or KISS (different characters but essentially the same costumes and makeup) I wanted the band to be more like The Damned - where each member has their own unique personality and look. If one member wanted to look "normal" so be it
