I sill struggle to install Linux on some devices as my second OS and I don’t know why… but I could blame myself for it.
(I can’t remember this kind of problems when I run Suse and all the ubuntus besides Mac or windows in the earlier days) I think it’s the hardware and VM options and the fact, that I don’t have the power anymore to search for the hardware drivers (aso). I have been in the comfort zone of MacOS and all its benefits for too long.

I’ll try some more options within the next days…

Ok, things became clearer when i tried to install Pop!_OS. It looks like an additional UEFI/boot partition is required (may i misunderstood this part. as I always thought that the existing EFI partition from Windows could be used). Now everything works very well. and pop!_OS is a snappy system. Just the boot loader is still missing. but i can select the system in the EFI. (not as comfortable as a boot loader but i think this problem could be solved… later.)
