You don't have a Tatung electric cooker! 😲 How does it feel to be the only person in Taiwan who doesn't have one? 😁
We have had a couple of Kinyo and Tatung things over the years.
@YLee I was disastrously mislead at the point of purchase three years ago 😂
(Actually my main memory from that interaction was the shop assistant literally plugging in the rice cooker and showing me how to cook rice in the middle of the department store, because I’d be unable to read the instructions!)

It's so much more than just a rice cooker. We use it to reheat leftovers, make soup, cook polenta, braise pork, etc. I've even eaten a steamed cake that came out of one. They also don't use proprietary, non-stick pots, and they last forever.

Yah, those things are indestructible! We use ours for cooking sweet potatoes and corn as well. It’s probably the last kitchen appliance I would want to do without. 🤣
