Can anyone share & teach me how to use #macOS Keychain to manage software keys?

Applications like Bitwarden, 1Password, etc. offer specific categories in their apps to manage licenses and keys.

#macOS Passwords offers nothing like that. Obviously.

@al3x I just create a new Password entry with the email used for the license in the User Name field and then the key in the password field. I also created a shared group with the name Software License to keep them sorted easily.

@cb_desu Thanks! I like the idea of using a shared group to keep them separated. (I was simply thinking to use a prefix, e.g. “License”).

The challenge I have with this format is that I have to use the Notes section for all the rest of information.
