The last WCW Nitro before Bash at the Beach 1996 is weird. It's decent at worst for a while and they even plant the chekov's gun of The Outsiders showing up to ringside. Around 3/4 of the way through they have a weak World Title match and with the post-match stuff it feels like the show is dragging...

Then they air a Rey Mysterio vignette that feels like it belongs earlier in the show, fire the chekov's gun, and then... keep going. The pacing is all wrong.

The main event is an eight-man tag with the Four Horsemen vs a random team of the Rock n Roll Express, The Renegade (who'd been off TV for months), and some jobber named Joe Gomez? I love the Horsemen and the Rock n Roll Express, but this feels like it should have been earlier in the show. This main evented over the World Title match for some reason!
