I had an endoscopy on Monday. Woke up vomiting black coffee grounds with belly pain. Called the health line and they said to go to ED.

I have been waiting at Campbelltown ED since 7am and have been told to expect many hours more. Before I even get to see a doctor. There are people in the waiting room who have been here since last night (with some treatment, but nowhere to have them wait except in the room).

Why the hell are we building high speed rail with no business case while our hospitals are in crisis.

@erinrileyau there's no connection between the high speed rail and hospital funding.

There is however a connection between hospital funding and AUKAS submarines, fossil fuel subsidies, mining companies dodging royalty payments and tech companies dodging tax.

I'd suggest directing your anger there, not at more greatly needed public transport. We can and should have both.

@craige I mean, it’s both and.

I fully support smart investment in public transport, but Newcastle to Central high speed rail with around 100kms of tunnel isn’t it.
