@davidrevoy Reminds me of a story of someone giving a speech to an audience in English, to a non-English speaking audience via a translator.

They spoke with a slight drawl… "It's good to be here today"
The translator heard "It's good to be here to die"
… *audible gasp* from the audience who hear the literal translation …
