I went to see an R.E.M. cover band and apparently needed to write 1200 words about it?

Still have the original disc, acquired used from Freddy's in Elkhart, Indiana, located off the north end of Cassopolis Street, about a mile south of the Michigan border.

Freddy's sold used CDs and tapes, black light posters and drug paraphernalia, and apparently didn't care if 12 year olds parked their bikes out front and traded their birthday money for pre-owned compact discs.

Freddy's seems to have existed entirely before the internet as I can find no mention of it.

This album was situated squarely in the zeitgeist, featuring
laments for Kurt Cobain and River Phoenix.

It was also a point of origin for me, a north star.

Anyway, found it in the closet.
