Y’know when that *one* feature which makes your workflow gel suddenly disappears? That’s my experience with the way @NetNewsWire changed ‘star’ and ‘unread’. As far as I’m concerned, the app has lost its core functionality.
As much credit and leeway as I can give @brentsimmons (and the designer behind some of this change), problems in User Experience come from changes which haven’t been worked through with users.

@brentsimmons @NetNewsWire @daringfireball Starring an item would make the star visible, whether the item is read or unread. Now, only read items (excluded by my filter) appear with stars.
