It's Official: the Cybertruck is More Explosive than the Ford Pinto - FuelArc News

We now have a full year of data for the Cybertruck, and a strange preponderance of headlines about Cybertrucks exploding into flames, including several fatalities. That’s more than enough data to compare to the Ford Pinto, a car so notoriously combustible that it has become a watchword for corporate greed. Let’s start with the data […]

@kottke In other words, don't park next to them, or drive near them. Probably steer clear of the drivers, as well.
@kottke I'm very glad these abominations never made it to Europe. The worst we got are people dense enough to pay extra for imported oversized US "Trucks" (which can't be imported and sold en mass due to being inherently unsafe).

@oscherler The commission announced they planed something, but the opposition was fierce. I don't know if it actually happened, was stopped or is still lingering.

@kottke sold less than the Edsel. Less safe than the pinto
@kottke
Also 100x's more likely to be driven by a small weened chud
@kottke 47 years ago, the Pinto was recalled - who remembers that. News, you can do better. Just say that Cybertrucks are not safe and should be recalled... period!
