Is Cosmic Invasion a step up on Shredder's Revenge? - Lemmy.World

I’m trying to find a modern beat’up title that is complexity level low, without RPG mechanisms, to have light sessions with visits and wife. I’m looking at Cosmic Invasion but since is a recent title it is hard to get a good grasp. If you would to decide between getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge or Marvel Cosmic Invasion would you get?

For whatever this is worth, Turtles made me nostalgic for Double Dragon, while Cosmic Encounter made me nostalgic for the X-Men Arcade game. Both fine, just hit different.

It is helpful. How do you feel about the graphics? I was checking some videos and Cosmic Invasion was looking a bit more polished.
