I didn’t watch the SOTU but I see headlines like Pedonald claiming he is responsible for a “turnaround for the ages”.

I’ll interpret that as true, but not the way I’m sure he intended. All economic indicators towards the end of Biden’s term were in a good place or heading in good directions. That’s what happens when you have adults running things vs petulant children chanting baby-words like “maga” and “maha” and repeating jingoistic phrases on cue.

Since Pedonald has come in, he seems even more fixated on centering himself as well as enriching himself and doing absolutely unhinged things like fucking with tariffs.

So yeah, it was a turnaround all right, but changing things from a good direction to an incredibly stupid and awful direction.

And that’s just on economics.
