I'm trying to move the rest that already isn't to #European alternatives, namely #Hetzner which has good storage options - has someone gone through the rabbit hole of needing to "verify" oneself via #iDenfy - a company with offices in Lithuania, UK, and ... US.

Is everything now about leaking all personal information to billion person databases that then get leaked to public, or how does this go?

Has someone gotten through customer support for example to bypass the restriction?

Oh, ok, I asked the chatbot on their site and it actually gave a e-mail address "For account verification issues or if you refuse the automated identity check, please contact"...!
