On this day in 1989, I got my first Braille 'n Speak. My life, both personal and professional, was never the same since. @dblazie thank you for starting a revolution and for your contributions to this field.
@DavidGoldfield @dblazie Wow! Time has definitely passed, and technology have changed a lot, and I mean, a lot from back then to now! We've come a very long way!
@mckensie @DavidGoldfield @dblazie I got my first Braille 'not Speak when I was in 4th grade over my TVI'S objection. Supposedly I was too young. By the end of the year, that TVI said he was going to start recommending it for other kids. I think that's what actually got me started with my interest in computers and other technology.
@DavidGoldfield @mckensie @dblazie Oops, that was suppost to be Braille N Speak. I forgot to use the grade 1 sign while using braille screen input.
@DavidGoldfield @dblazie I second this, in agreement with what they started.
