I originally tried to render a scene from Goethe's Erlkönig, with the father carrying the child while fleeing from the Erlking. I spent quite some time trying to get that composition right, but the faces kept coming out distorted. Eventually I removed the characters from the prompt and focused only on the forest atmosphere. Once that looked good, I added the idea of ​​a decaying wooden fence to give the scene more structure and depth. That version ended up working much better.
