We needed to create a website for
@psylo and wanted to see if AI agents are any good at web design

Answer is: not bad at all. It wont win any design awards but it came up with something very very decent. Check it out:

https://psylo.app

The input was: App Store description, announcement blog post, screenshots, app icon, and the theme colours.

It came up with the design, layout, copy, and everything. Didn’t write a single line of code.

It still has some hallmarks of AI-generated design, but the fact that it did this pretty much on its own is just incredible

Once I was more or less okay with the design (since I just started off with a plain HTML/CSS page), I asked it to build the site using https://gohugo.io, which is my absolute favourite CMS and everyone building static HTML websites should use it
The world's fastest framework for building websites

Hugo is one of the most popular open-source static site generators. With its amazing speed and flexibility, Hugo makes building websites fun again.

It did that in one shot, so now we could easily add new pages (like the terms, privacy policy, release notes) and even translate the website into multiple languages…

So now the website is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean

With that, now we have more time to focus on building features for
@psylo

Though if I were to pick my favourite website of an app, my choice hands down goes to panic Nova’s website. It’s best experienced on desktop, just hover your mouse over the download button and see what happens 😬
