anybody knows where https://www.felixcloutier.com/x86/ went?

edit: an email went missing and the domain lapsed. it is back

@whitequark went? the site is still there for me.. or do you mean that it's a bit stale?
@iximeow @whitequark resolves to parking / adverts for me. If you have a working ip or a cache, please save stuff!
@faux @whitequark fwiw i'm not terribly worried about having that exact replica cached: https://github.com/fay59/x86doc (felix has mentioned that there are changes in more recent SDMs that don't parse well, but..)

@iximeow are you sure it's not cached? the domain's dead for me
@whitequark yeah, i see. i get different DNS answers from different places so i think i had a cached resolution that gets me to the server still
@whitequark btw @fay59 you're internet popular and your website is sad
@iximeow @whitequark ah fuck did I forget to renew my domain? Why do I not get emails about this
@iximeow @whitequark ah that's right I forget every year because namecheap doesn't allow me to put it on auto-renew, for whatever reason. the reason I'm not getting emails about it remains a mystery. hopefully it's back to life now. I should add a calendar reminder for that
@fay59 @iximeow oh wait are you the felix world famous for the x86 manual

@whitequark @iximeow very gracious to not call me world famous for forgetting to renew my domains (but yes)
@fay59 @iximeow hell yeah i love the reference
@fay59 @whitequark @iximeow let ye who has no expired domains cast the first dig
@fay59 @whitequark @iximeow one day you'll achieve Matt Compiler Explorer levels of famous; i believe in you
@iximeow which ip has the right pages?
@whitequark great question, i'm not ... really sure. the content should have netlify headers in it? but IPs that yield the parking page are amazon (18.208.88.157 etc) versus akamai that i get elsewhere (172.234.24.211), but i think i'm doing curl bad to actually get the pages
@iximeow oh this works curl --connect-to ::18.208.88.157: https://www.felixcloutier.com/x86/

@whitequark @iximeow OH

THIS IS SO NICE, SO COMPACT !

(I'm talking about the --connect-to syntax omitting the first address field and both ports)

@whitequark (cue the usual xkcd dependencies comic) I always wondered how the single decent online reference for the x86 ISA is just a site by Some Guy with a PDF scraper script (not to be confused with the Other Guy that did the same thing but never accepted x86_64)
@whitequark the generator scripts appears to be https://github.com/fay59/x86doc just in case.

@whitequark It's gone for me too. I though I had an archive, but it's actually of a different website (x86.renejeschke.de, which itself is an archive of siyobik.com).

@whitequark Looks like all the DNS propagation is done. It’s working now, DNS only points to AWS addresses.
