Having to order something for my trip twice because the place I ordered from first still hasn't shipped it a week and a half later, and isn't replying to emails.

I mean, it's only $10 so it's not a big deal, but harrumph.

In more positive news, this 50+year-old dehydrator I found in a free pile is putting in some work! Peas, carrots, mushrooms, and hummus!
@Karstan OMG this makes up for all the crummy crap thats happened to you. i was going to buy one when i lived in a house.
@emily_rugburn I've had it for a while and have used it a few times with mixed success. This time around seems to be my best results yet!
@Karstan i used to make my own food scrap bullion powder and dehydration would have been a lot easier compared to what i actually had to do
@emily_rugburn I make my own veggie broth with food scraps! I have had poor luck with bullion. I mean, I guess they turned out okay but damn, so much work.
@Karstan i have ibs so i had to make my own since most of the veggie bullion has onions and garlic mixed in. i would make a bullion powder that would last about 6-8 months. my parents gave me their old upright deep freezer when i moved into my house so it was just crammed with bags of veggie scraps and tofu from aldi (which was ridiculously cheap at times).
