My cats are so afraid of it, they’d never touch it. But it doesn’t hurt my finger so I suppose it’ll be fine. They would probably only do it once though.

If it has guards around the props I’d say relatively safe for cats. The real question is “are cats safe for tinywhoops?” And yes, try with your own finger first. They sell cages to put around the props if you want to be extra safe, or you can 3D print them.
