🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️In Imagine Otherwise, we will dive together into a workshop inspired by Theater of the Oppressed, weaving together creative writing, Image Theater, and Forum Theater elements. While these are just two of the six formats within the methodology and we will only have two hours this workshop is a nice intro and reflective exploration.
🎭Through gently guided exercises, we will engage in embodied exploration, collective imagination, and shared discussion. This is a space to question, reframe, and experiment, drawing from the core value of community.
🌈All experience levels are welcome. If you’re new to Theater of the Oppressed, you’ll receive an introduction. If you already have experience, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your practice in a collaborative setting.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in. We will provide drinks, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere, just bring your curiosity and openness.
