It took me a second or third run to realize that sword practice is essential. If you don’t grind early in the game for a couple hours, every encounter with two armed peasants in some forest will be your death. I don’t think any other game has got my heart racing as much as KCD.

I own the second installment and just…wow. work of art. Definitely pick this up if you like Skyrim type format. There are always new places to explore and side quests to find. The sword combat is super realistic and brutal. Quite the learning curve and not a ‘smash everything’ type game.
