@johnbrowntypeface ...maybe, but before cameras in every corner and hand we were still being traced and tracked from birth to death like property. every passport, id, license plate, security number, and even books checked out via library card...with a birth cert stamped to us like a cattle brand. ever lose your papers and cash before all this new tech? ...was nearly impossible to get anything done without them even then. new tech, same marks of ownership.
