This is a weekly report I get on my phone using @murena's @e_mydata /e/OS system - if you don't already know it's a degoogled privacy-first version of Android. In fact the user experience is akin to iOS.
Even on Apple, the tracking done by apps and big tech companies is huuuuuuuge even if you have hardened privacy settings. I migrated from iOS to /e/OS in summer last year and it's a game-changer for those of us who care about our data and our privacy. And that should really be every one of us 🙂
@SubTraKtion @murena @e_mydata Very cool. Putting migration from iOS on 2do list.
@SubTraKtion @murena @e_mydata The iOS-like stock launcher was the main thing I _didn't_ like in eOS. So I use Lawnchair instead. Otherwise eOS is quite nice.
@SubTraKtion @murena @e_mydata Don't forget it's not completely degoogled. By default microG is activated which connects to Google services. AFAIK it can be disabled in the settings, correct me if I'm wrong. But privacy is pretty good for Android.
