@FoxesInLove should probably not have bought battle for north Africa

@NinjaDebugger @FoxesInLove

Sounds like War in Europe/War in the Pacific to me!

@NinjaDebugger @FoxesInLove I thought exactly of the same episode from The Big Bang Theory! 😂
@randolph34 never seen it, I don't watch tv. I just know the game.
@NinjaDebugger Funny, I didn't know that game existed for real. I always thought it was a made generic strategy game in the TV series.
@randolph34 the wiki article for it is fantastic
@FoxesInLove that's not called "eight hour nap", that's what we call "Long Rest" 😄
@FoxesInLove This is DND rules in a nutshell.
@Aoi_X_Kaizaki Hey, the base play rules're not that complicated! It's just there's sooo many spells n class features n items, but ya don't needa know all those by heart (only the ones that apply for ur character, at least enough that ya can quickly look up the rest'a what ya need, n'f ya start at level 1, it's only a few things n then't gradually increases as the campaign goes on). Like I'm not denying it's a complex game, n yes there's definitely much simpler RPGs out there, but there's no 28 steps for anything.

@tanith It's that for me, when I find a game that's new for me adn since I have nobody to help teach me or understand the rules of - mentioned game above and RISK, and others, I get stuck and then I fail.

I wouldn't know how hard games are as I'm alone.

@Aoi_X_Kaizaki Ah, that makes sense. We learned a lot thru playing Baldur's Gate 3, initially sometimes asking our DM (altho by now I'm pretty sure we know mosta the rules better than her), n ofc looking stuff up when't came up in play.
@tanith I saw a live stream of BG3. Speaking of that game, I played a game that might appeal of some players called Vagrus. I played the demo and it's story oriented, but it may attract those types of players.

@tanith Thank you for your advice and point of view.

Live long and prosper 🖖
