@VWDasher we had one of those (where the name was licensed or something; not actually developed by any Trump company). It was a hotel and condo combination (somewhat common around here). It got renamed to something else after 5 years

@giflian I think this might be the same, but considering it's Trump I hope it ends up a derelict site, the developer bankrupt and no one else here wants to touch that fucking name ever again.

@VWDasher there were protesters here at the opening, and that was nearly a decade ago. I was glad when it got renamed

@giflian if this thing gets built, there will be people protesting it. Imagine how shameful it would be to work on the project.

@VWDasher licensing the name may be a bribe, or money laundering.
