I would love to start the morning meander with a bit of good news before getting out with the dugs, but not a chance. Reform are promising us a dystopia - but a ‘Christian’ one. So more like the US every day.

It really does make me despair. Better get out and try to clear my mind of this shite.

Shite is the right word. If no one is going to church, it's because people have concluded that a bunch of made up stories from 2000 years ago, distorted over time and curated by an odd mix of well-meaning people and kiddie-fiddlers, have little relevance for modern society.

@Wen I wonder what exactly he means by "Christianity" I suspect it won't be The Good Samaritan. Welcoming strangers might be a bit of a tall order for Reform, but possibly they're not the Christian values they have in mind
