A two-hour tribute celebrating the legacy of the late, great Ebo Taylor — pioneering guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, and bandleader who helped define modern Highlife and Afrobeat. From his early days playing with late-1950s Highlife bands in Ghana’s thriving music scene to his many influential collaborations, Taylor shaped the sound of a generation. Blending traditional Highlife rhythms with jazz, funk, and Afrobeat, his signature guitar lines and rich horn arrangements became foundational to West African music.
