I've bought a new cellular Apple Watch almost every year since it has existed, and EVERY time, it has failed to transfer the AT&T plan to the new Watch.

The only way to ever get it to work is to cancel the old one's plan (which, mercifully, can be done on AT&T's website) and start a new plan on the new one.

And every time I've mentioned it somewhere, I hear from everyone with non-AT&T carriers who say the transfer works great for them every time. 🤣

@marcoarment Last time I tried to transfer one on a Verizon plan I spent hours on the phone over a two week period and they still never figured it out. They also couldn’t figure out how to stop charging me for the watch plan even though it wouldn’t connect. I decided having cellular service on my watch wasn’t worth that amount of effort.
