"Black Start" Power Plant, Belgium - Part 2: Control room

Though officially closed around 2010, the control room remained eerily pristine when I visited a few years ago. The computer terminals were still live, and the lights remained on.

Since its closure, the plant appears to be maintained in a state of readiness, likely serving as a permanent contingency plan for national grid emergencies. It has since been demolished.
