I continue to be blown away by all the creativity and love I get to experience in #strategiesagainstalgorithms – I'd never thought it possible, and it makes me So. Very. Glad.

I'm touched and humbled by the need and the willingness to share that actually is out there, and by the deep humanity of it.

And it really makes me think – beyond the fact that big social is broken. Thoughts still unstructured, but once this project is over, I may be able to put them into words.

@stephan awww, this is impressive!

I guess the human scale makes this project so great. Personal exchange, one person to one person. There's a story behind each exchange, and for me, there's now a personal story attached to that little USB stick and the folder of files on my SSD that goes deeper than any liner notes – because liner notes are the artist's story, but this is the story of a relationship.

@stephan your project inspired me to think about my own spin on making art that is disseminated along personal connections. It's not something I can speak about yet, and I will have to test the technical parts of the idea, but it's simmering in the back of my mind.

I can't imagine any greater praise than having inspired someone to do something they wouldn't otherwise have done. So. Thank you, again 😊

@stephan I'll have to make a prototype (some time when I have more time than I do now) and see whether it actually works.

But I'll definitely write about it when I get it past the "idle thought while taking out the garbage" stage.
