I continue to be blown away by all the creativity and love I get to experience in #strategiesagainstalgorithms – I'd never thought it possible, and it makes me So. Very. Glad.
I'm touched and humbled by the need and the willingness to share that actually is out there, and by the deep humanity of it.
And it really makes me think – beyond the fact that big social is broken. Thoughts still unstructured, but once this project is over, I may be able to put them into words.

I guess the human scale makes this project so great. Personal exchange, one person to one person. There's a story behind each exchange, and for me, there's now a personal story attached to that little USB stick and the folder of files on my SSD that goes deeper than any liner notes – because liner notes are the artist's story, but this is the story of a relationship.
Thank you so much. 😊 That's a great way to put it. I feel the same way… because I suddenly see the people who listen to my music and connect with them, and in doing so, I perceive my listeners very differently than I would if I just watched a silly counter going up (or not going up) in my bandcamp statistics.
It's a remarkable experience that makes me think a lot about music and what connects people… and I'm still trying to figure it all out, what it means, and where to go from here.
