☕️ Hey folks, particularly fellow RPers,

I'm looking to find folks to roleplay with (I don't mean D&D and other tabletop gameplay-driven roleplay, I mainly mean story/writing-focused). I'm a touch picky but if you're an adult with some manners and are open to negotiating a story, I'm willing to have an open mind.

We (plural system) have 13 years of RP experience from Twitter and Bluesky, and I've been writing this character for 7 years. I'm also on Bluesky and actively so since several of our regular RP partners are there, but their features are a touch lacking (only 300 characters per post, no "unlisted" posts, blocks are public, no softblocks).

@midnitemari I have written about 60k words of fanfic over the last several years, and played theatre sports in HS. I'm a rank beginner so I'm going to need a bit of help understanding how this sort of rp goes, but I'm keen.

What do you mean by current characters?

E.g non geographical location, characters who have a name and a bit of backstory, interacting with each other kind of like whose line is it anyways.

Something to that effect, yes.
Usually it's improvised if it's a one-off silly story, but with more serious stories usually the more important plot beats are planned out and then my hypothetical partner and I come up as we go along.

By the way as a bit of background to me, because I read your bio and well... Mine is sparse compared to yours...

I'm 22yrs old, non binary, and I live in Australia. I love fanfiction, writing, and enjoy watching cool shows. Outside of fannish hobbies, I like motorcycles, motogp, formula 1 and rally.

Not sure if I have anything else to add to that.
