I've got 6 piercings in my left ear; 6 in my right.

My left ear is the more chaotic with 3 in my lobe; a conch; a forward helix and a tragus.

I certainly make an impression when people meet me for the first time; but that's the problem with first impressions - you only get to make one of them.

When they find out the heavily pierced and tattooed guy who's dressed in leather or latex is a highly educated engineer with an astrophysics degree you almost see people feel slightly at odds with their initial thoughts.

I hope they learn to never judge by appearance alone in future.
