I'll start. My supermarket now has these fancy self-checkout counters. I still prefer to go to the register with a real person behind it, but when I only buy a bottle of milk and some other little things, the self-checkout is fast and convenient.
My electric bicycle is a cheap and simple no-name. It was less than €700 and its electronics are not very modern or comfortable. But it runs completely offline, has no Bluetooth or GPS or App and gets me from/to work and around town reliably since almost 2 years. It's truly meh and I like it that way :) It uses more or less standard batteries that are cheap to replaee, though my original battery is still going strong, so no need yet to replace it.
@mike Still, if you get a nice amount of followers, it makes your life easier when you have to ask a question.
Someone popular recently asked a question about panel mount connectors, and got maybe 50 answers. I had asked almost the same question a week prior, and didn’t even get one boost. And I used hashtags and they didn’t.
