So, there’s a brand new song from #AugustBurnsRed and I don’t know what to think about it.
I’m a huge ABR fan, but this songs feels like, they’re now like more generic modern #metal. Lots of breakdowns. They always had a bunch, but it feels here like too much. There’s no energy or explosive force in the music. There’s slow parts and faster parts, but it feels like the song has two riffs plus some coloured version of them.
Yes, I’m disappointed after the first listen. And it was the case for the most recent releases as well. It took always more and more time to grow on me.
