I made a pretty video about the Centauri Carbon

So what are the talking points or take aways from the video?

I just bought a Centauri Carbon in December. It was a huge upgrade from my Ender 3 and I love it.

My only complaint is that the nozzle is part of the hot end and cannot be removed. Like many others, I ended up getting a clog that was difficult to remove.

I recommend getting a noclogger to make removing clogs much easier.

What would be the benefit of designing them so the nozzle isn’t replaceable? There are some filaments (i.e. carbon fibre) that are super rough on nozzles and require regular maintenance/replacement.
It’s to force people to buy the whole hotend. More revenue for them. Elegoo has been speed running a race to the bottom in the name of profit, so this isn’t surprising to me at all.
It looks like there are a few aftermarket options available that don’t have this limitation so when this nozzle/hot end bites it I may look at those. The replacements are only $20 but still, being able to purchase nozzles over the entire hot end would be preferable. Luckily it seems there are options after a quick glance online.
I’m glad there are 3rd party options. Elegoo shouldn’t be rewarded for making a modular device less so just to sell more bits at once.

Nice! Followed your channel too, it’s always nice to see more PeerTube content out there.

Unrelated but out of curiousity, if you had tagged this community in the video’s description, would it have shown up here by itself? I do that from one fedi platform to another all the time, like from PixelFed to Lemmy, but I’ve never tried this specific crossing.
